AI Cartographer
Not what to do — how to use the tools to do exactly what needs to be done. Strategy, implementation, and automation for startups and small businesses.
What I Do
Agent architecture design, workflow automation with n8n, meeting capture pipelines, internal knowledge bots, and Google Workspace + AI integration. Built for teams that aren't technical — but need to be AI-capable.
Organizational structure for pre-launch companies. Role descriptions, hiring frameworks, communication tool selection, Asana onboarding flows, and compliance pipelines. From zero to operating.
GDPR, PCI DSS, KYC/AML pipeline architecture, Visa regulation and VAMP compliance, chargeback tracking via ERDs, and data tokenization strategy. Systems that protect while they scale.
Comprehensive analysis with budget phasing, legal requirements, and market sizing. Investor-grade pitch decks, 90-day execution briefs, and competitive landscape research.
Real Projects
Rebuilt operations after near-collapse as interim COO. Designed the compliance and underwriting pipeline, architected the Pix Passport cross-border wallet product (Brazil → US/EU/LatAm), built internal AI handlers for document processing and support automation, and created error mapping and chargeback compliance systems.
Designed a hierarchical AI agent system for a recovery nonprofit — grant writing, social media, community outreach, and event agents all reporting through supervisory layers. Built Asana-based client onboarding, presented tech stack to non-technical staff, and created the grant research pipeline.
Authored research and execution briefs for a stablecoin settlement model using BRLA and USDC with Pix as domestic rails. D+1, D+5, and D+30 settlement tiers with liquidity pooling for accelerated payouts across Brazil, US, EU, and LatAm corridors.
Hands-on consulting for Myrtle Beach small businesses — identifying AI + Asana + scheduling optimization opportunities, drafting outreach positioning AI as concrete time and cost savings, and mapping automation into daily operations for non-technical owners.
Comprehensive business analysis for a community-focused rideshare concept — budget phasing, app development scoping, marketing strategy, legal and insurance requirements, and revenue modeling for the Myrtle Beach market. Profit sharing with local causes built into the model.
What I Work With
Who I Am
I'm Daniel Poole — a startup and small business strategy consultant who builds in AI systems. I've served twice as interim COO for a fintech company, managed operations across six countries, and designed AI agent architectures for organizations that had never touched the technology before.
I'm not a developer. I don't write code for a living. What I do is map where AI fits inside an organization — the workflows, the compliance requirements, the people who need to use it — and build systems that actually work in the real world. That's why I call myself an AI Cartographer.
My background is non-traditional: UConn, contract law, executive operations, fintech crisis management, and thousands of hours studying AI systems from Karpathy's architecture lectures to hands-on agent design. I don't sell AI tools. I sell the map.
